Trying to hard again...

Kimi Raikkonen has crashed out on the pre-event shakedown stage ahead of the 2010 Rallye Espana, damaging the roll-cage of his Citroen and ruling himself out of the rally.

The Finn's car rebounded across the road and rolled at least once after he clipped a left-hand corner on a tarmac section of the 3km route, damaging the roof section of the roll cage, which will prevent him from starting the rally on Friday.

Citroën Racing reveals the DS3 WRC

The hotly anticipated replacement for the multi-championship winning C4 WRC will make its global public debut at the 2010 Paris Motor Show.  Aggressive, dynamic and packed with ‘Créative Technologie', the DS3 WRC represents the efforts of Citroën Racing to push performance to the limit during its development, whilst complying with the new FIA regulations.  After five WRC manufacturer's and six consecutive driver's titles for Sébastien Loeb and Daniel Elena, Citroën is out to extend its run of success with the DS3 WRC.

Such a little beauty...Ford next dirt race..!

The FIA World Rally Championship is shaping up to be particularly interesting in 2011, and the new-for-2011 Ford Fiesta RS is a big reason why. The Blue Oval's latest dirt-spitting racer will contest its first race at Rally Sweden in mid-February, but the Fiesta S2000-based rally car made its debut this morning at the Paris Motor Show. Sure to be a show stopper in next years WRC!!!
